Rivenhall lies between Witham and Kelvedon on the A12. From the North bound carriageway i.e. Colchester bound turn left at the Fox Inn at Rivenhall End signposted Silver End and Braxted into Oak Road, proceed to the end , turn left, under the railway bridge (clearance 12ft..9inches) take care on the S bend and you then approach the village green. From the Southbound carriageway, i.e. Chelmsford bound turn left at the Rivenhall Hotel, proceed to the end, turn left go under the A12 then proceed as above. NOTE: For any HGV there is no entry into Rivenhall from the A12 due to the low bridge (clearance 12ft..9inches) such vehicles must proceed into Witham and take the B1018 (George public house on corner) proceed over both railway bridges and then turn right into Rickstones Road (post office on corner) along to the end to village green. From the A120 take the Witham turn off at the McDonald s Roundabout (B1018). On approaching Witham, turn left into Conrad Road at the 30 m.p.h. sign proceed to end turn left into Rickstones Road and proceed to end.
